We have seen several Eastern Towhees at multiple parks this week. I was surpriased at how early and how many.

We saw these two Mourning Dove on a recent 'hike'. They were parked in a small tree trying to stay warm on a colder morning. They sure looked fat and happy 😍. The bodyfat sure seems to help on these cooler mornings.

This female Red-winged Blackbird seemed to be engaged in taking care of her young family .. or at least I assume that is the case. I'm not sure what she has in her beak.
