Loud Jays

The blue jays are showing up frequenly now. They don't always set where we can photograph them but they are cool to watch. Maybe loud, but cool.

Epic Perch

We saw these two Bald Eagles not far from the Great Miami River. Their nest is not far from where we took this photo. I wanted a clear shot but this was the best I could do. The fact that they didn't move and I was able to get this on a cloudy day made me very happy.

Just Chillin’ .. Literally

The Red-bellied Woodpeckers are super active recently. The cold does not seem to be a problem for them at all.

Snow Shoes?

We are seeing more Dark-eyed Juncos now. I am sure they have been around but we have not seen many until the past week.
