This Red-bellied Woodpecker was molting. It is harder to tell in this photo, but she will grow back vibrant, beautiful colors soon.

We have a lot of water. The rain has been intense for most of the week. The rivers and streams are full to overflowing. The birds don't make some rain but wind seems to be a problem.

Yes, it's another woodpecker. Ths female Red-bellied Woodpecker was looking for bugs in the trees but paused to look around.
