Big Buck

We had been hiking on our drive we spotted this buck. He was quick to run off, but I managed to stop the car, open the window, and snap 3 or 4 photos.

What happened to that pole?

FullSizeRender.jpg

I found this photo of another old barn in my shots from last fall. I forgot I had taken this shot. That power pole looks like it could fall over. I think some of that is optics, but some of it has to be real. I need to go back and take a look at this again.

I am hoping for a beak in the weather this week. I really want to get out and take a photo hike, but these temperatures are just no fun. Maybe Wednesday! 🤞🏼

Getting Old

I love old Barns. Teresa took this photo this fall. If you take a drive through farm country it’s common to see old barns, getting older. Very cool.

It’s about to snow ... it looks like last weekend on steroids. Be safe.

Bring back the blue sky

The cloud cover and rain for the last few days has left me with a little seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Yes, I think SAD is real, and I feel it every winter.

This is where photography comes to the rescue ... I remembered this picture and had a little internal party when I saw the blue sky and green pasture. 🎊🎊

Pictures and videos can bring back memories. Some of my most cherished photos are of my mother and father. When I am missing them, I will look at those photos and find peace.

So when ever you read this, do what I’m doing: Listen to The Beach Boys, and look at some of your summer photos or other cherished memories!
