This time every fall the Red-winged Blackbird disappear... I guess they migrate early. I guess it is still summer but they are gone. Sometimes we will see a few of them fly through but I think they are gone. This is one of the last ones we photographed.
Curious Little Weirdo?
Field sparrows are absolute drama queens. I guess you could say they are deeply, passionately curious little weirdos. They always have to perch on the highest possible spot just to judge everything happening.

The Audacity of the Fox Squirrel
Squirrels are absolutely nuts—seriously funny and very playful. This little fox squirrel was raiding the bird feeder and bolted the second we showed up. Then she scampered up this tree, but just had to stop and look back to see if we were still watching. The audacity!
