This time every fall the Red-winged Blackbird disappear... I guess they migrate early. I guess it is still summer but they are gone. Sometimes we will see a few of them fly through but I think they are gone. This is one of the last ones we photographed.
Red-Winged Beauty
It won't be long until the Red-winged Blackbirds start to migrate! They're always the first to leave, probably sometime in late August, but we'll see. I just love the beautiful colors they bring to the pastures.

A Stunning Portrait of... Feet
So, there I was, fully prepared to capture the majestic, awe-inspiring beauty of a female red-winged blackbird. I had the lighting, I had the angle, I had the vision! But apparently, she had other plans —namely, launching into the stratosphere the exact millisecond I pressed the shutter. Instead of a stunning wildlife portrait, I am now the proud owner of a high-definition, perfectly focused photograph of her feet. Yes, the feet. Truly, my photography skills are unmatched. 🤣

Momma Red-Wing
This is a good photo of a female Red-winged Blackbird. We really don't see them that often. There are around, but I guess they are busy nesting.

Bright Colors
Love the bright colors of the Red-winged Blackbird right now. They are everywhere and beautiful.
