Where Is Mom

One day early this week we saw three fawns. Two of them were at one location, the other a few miles away at a second location. In both cases there was no mom .. MIA mom.

Duskywing and Horace Who?

This is a Horace's Duskywing. It is a species of skipper butterfly. I don't think I have ever photographed one before.

‘I may be small, but my concert is sold out’

I love the tail of the Song Sparrow. It's not exactly true but I think their tale is unique for sparrows. I mean some other sparrows ave it but I love how it looks.

She looks like she is performing. Indeed, her song was beautiful.
