We embarked on a magical butterfly trek with the Miami County Parks District this week, and holy smokes, was it a scorcher! Fortunately, the trail offered a few pockets of shade, though I still ended up sweating like a snowman in a sauna. Along the way, we crossed paths with a few monarch butterflies . What an absolutely stunning butterfly!

We have been seeing a lot of Viceroy butterflies recently. This is a beautiful photo. So far the temperature has been great for them. That will end soon so we are enjoying it as long as they continue to show up.
