We have been seeing a lot of Viceroy butterflies recently. This is a beautiful photo. So far the temperature has been great for them. That will end soon so we are enjoying it as long as they continue to show up.

If you don't get out in nature I would get out now. The colors have been amazing. Here is a sample. The Clouded Sulphur brings the yellows.

It was great to see this Painted Lady butterfly. The temp was in the mid-50s so it was a total surprise. I am guessing this will be the last one we see this year.
