We photographed a male and a female cardinal yesterday, and I think both of them might be molting. This female seems to be showing it even more. What do you think?

We don't see cardnials on the ground nearly as often as in a tree. I guess you go where the food is.

We will go several days without photographing a male Northern Cardinal .. and then we photograph seveal in a day or two.
