Merlin?

This is not a great photo. I am fairly certain that his is a Merlin. It was so far away and when I cropped it, the resolution is not great.

I looked at merlin photos on the web. I found several where position was the same as in this photo. It sure looks like a merlin. If you have other thoughts, let me know.

We have missed photographing several Great Blue Herons recently. It's like they know we are nearby. This one didn't excape my camera as he made his escape.
