The colors are a bit washed out but she was about to take off so I wanted to snap a quick photo. I always love it when we see a Great Blue Heron. I have said that before but this never gets old.

Nature is interesting. This Great Blue Heron is in a tree overlooking a pond. The second photo shows what we were looking at. Teresa spotted him .. I totally missed him. Look closely at the second photo and see if you can spot him.

In past years we have seen Great Blue Herons at this spot (at Big Woods) frequently. It has been a long time since the saw one here. It was great to see. She clearly owns this spot.
