My Tree Now

I was putting some bird food in a feeder when this Carolina Chickadee landed on a branch right beside me .. super close. Even more interesting is that I was able to take this photo and she didn't fly away.

Small But Robust

It is hard to believe these small Carolina Chickadees seem to thrive in such cold and harsh weather. It wa -4° and I was freezing .. she didn't seem to care.
