Common and Not Common

This is a Wood-Nymph ... actually the full name is a Common Wood-Nymph. The colors in this photo are just stunning.

Bunting

This is not a great photo but I was happy to see an Indigo Bunting. We have not seen many this year. In fact, I have not been able to capture a really good photo of one in 2025. Maybe there is still time.

A Diverse Pair

I did not expect to get this photo. We were hiking on a 'butterfly walk' with a naturalist from the Miami County Parks District these two showed up. It's a Black Swallowtail and a Monarch butterfly. The monarch is slightly out of focus but this is one of my favorite photos of this season.
