It was super warm out and I expected to see a few butterflies. On the way back to the car, I told Teresa we should have seen our favorite, the Hackberry Emperor. Almost on queue this Hackberry Emperor showeed up.

Not A Monarch
It was great to see a Viceroy butterfly. This is not a monarch, it is a viceroy. We are still not seeing many butterflies but this was great.

Sipping My Nectar Latte
The day we saw this Silver-spotted Skipper was amazing .. I lost count of how many butterflies we saw. This Silver-spotted Skipper was in perfect lighting .. beautiful.

Sort-tailed Blue
This is a Short-tailed blue butterfly. The color is super interesting .. a blue butterfly with those small orange markings. They are very small and easy to miss.
