Hiding In The Open

Nature is interesting. This Great Blue Heron is in a tree overlooking a pond. The second photo shows what we were looking at. Teresa spotted him .. I totally missed him. Look closely at the second photo and see if you can spot him.

Simple Sparrows

Even thouigh they lack the bright colors, I love the Song Sparrow. Maybe it's their song .. but simple and even plain can be beautiful.

Good To See You

We have not photographed an American Goldfinch in a couple weeks. This one was so beautiful and there was decent lighting .. beautiful.

And A Silver Spot

We saw several Silver-Spotted Skipper Butterflies on our hike yesterday. They are an interesting looking butterfly. They really don't look like a butterfly at all, but this is a butterfly.
