I was excited to see this Red Admiral Butterfly. We saw a few a few weeks ago, but then they just disapeared. We finally saw one a few days ago. I love their colors.

We were walking on a trail at Stillwater Prairie Reserve when we heard the very distint call of a Eastern Towhee. We stopped to look for it, but just could not locate him. At some point I just looked up .. I mean stright up. There it was, right over our heads. Too funny.

It has been a while since we have seen a White-breasted Nuthatch. This one was out for lunch. We saw two of then .... I love the spring when the birds are so active.

We saw so many Red-bellied Woodpeckers this week. I think we photographed about 5 of them, but there were very active. I enjoyed it.

The butterflies are much more active now. We have an organized butterfly walk next week on Tuesday so that should be a lot of fun.
