This was an interesting photo of a American Goldfinch. Usually they are almost perfect like sunday dress. Not this one ... maybe a little wind blown but certainly more casual dress. I guess there was more wind than I thought.

Bright & Brilliant
Spring brings back the bright, brilliant colors. That includes the American Goldfinch. I get all excited when I see these guys in their bright yellow suit show up. It is getting good out there.

Winter Gold
Wow, it was good to see this American Goldfinch this week. I didn't expect this so early in the year but we have seen then this time of year before. It won't be long and we will see more color.

Yes, this is another American Goldfinch. We are seeing so many of them this week. On one hike we saw this one and so many more that I lost count ... I mean dozens of them.
