We were watching a blue jay when this Northern Flicker flew into our view and landed on this tree. I sure loved it.

Lady Towhee

This is a female Eastern Towhee. I don't get to photograph a female towhee often so this was a surprise. There was two of them so even a bigger surprise.

Fierce Stare

Check out that stare .. she didn't fly away either. We were in the car and can't usually be those close. Normally where we see them while driving like this the hawk takes off. This one never left.
