I have never see a Red-winged Blackbird this late into the season. I think I have mentioned it before but at some point this fall we were not seeing any ... then they seemed to reappear. This was taken this week, October 2024. IT wasa real surprise.

I find Song Sparrows like this one to be beautiful. Maybe its their song, maybe its the small size and simple beauty. I sure love watching them.

I have not words for this photo. This female Northern Cardinal was just beautiful. The males are amazing with all the bright red, but I find the females as interesting with more color variety.
