This Red-bellied Woodpecker was so beautiful. I shot it thorugh the tall grass so the colors are not as good, but what a beautiful bird.
The feeder seems to have been made for smaller birds ..

This is happening more frequently it seems. We were driving to a hiking location when I spotted this Red-tailed Hawk in a tree just off the road. I had Teresa stop the car so I could try to capture a photo. The hawk did not wait and took off. I figured that was it, but she circled and landed in the same tree. I snapped these photos.
A little later we drove by the same tree and saw two of them. The photos were not as good, but I figure it was a couple out for date night. 🤣

I caught this American Tree Sparrow ... on the ground. I guess yhey were snacking on some grain that was on the ground near the feeder.
