My Little Buddy

This made my day. We were hiking when I heard an Eastern Towhee nearby. After locating him, and getting a good photo (actually the 3rd photos above), he followed us around for the next mile. I guess I was intruding on his turf.

Spring Day Woodpecker

It was great seeing this Red-bellied Woodpecker. I was jumping from tree to tree searching for lunch. We just continued our hike.

Chickadee …

When I spoited this little guy I was sure it was a Carolina Chickadee. After I looked closer, I decided it was actuallky a Black-capped Chickadee. I am still not sure, but cute, regardless.
