New Neighbor

I suppose we have a new neighbor. This is a Cooper's Hawk. She was in a tree across the street from our home. Large and beautiful.

Cooper’s Hawk

We were taking photos of a Bald Eagle when we spotted this Cooper's Hawk in a nearby tree. We don't see many of these. I think he just had lunch.

This is My Lunch!

FullSizeRender.jpg

Teresa and I drove up to Grand Lake Saint Marys this week. While we were hiking along the west side of the lake, we saw this Cooper’s hawk take down a small bird. Natures cycle of life, I guess.

Shortly after I took this photo, she flew off, with lunch. It was almost more than she could carry, but she made it.
