This American Robin appeared to be builing a nest on the top of this dead trea stump .. it's talk but just the trunk of the tree and very exposed. Very odd. I can't wait to go back and see if it's still there.

My Tree Now
I was putting some bird food in a feeder when this Carolina Chickadee landed on a branch right beside me .. super close. Even more interesting is that I was able to take this photo and she didn't fly away.

Waiting For Worm Delivery?
We saw several American Robins but this was the only photo I was able to take of one. I guess she was waiting for the worm delivery.

His Frosty Kingdom
We spotted this buck about 100 yards away, and I stopped the car to snap this photo. It’s that time of year when the frost blankets the freshly harvested fields, and the deer are thinking about the next generation.
It is getting cold .. and the frost is back. I guess winter is on the way.
