Nutty

When I took this photo I didn't notice it was a White-breasted Nuthatch. I usually see them on the side of some large tree in a vertical climb .. not this time. 😂

Red-bellied

There was actually two Red-bellied Woodpeckers, but I was only able to photograph this one. He was in this dense tree which made for a difficult photograph. I guess it's but not too bad.

Eclipse Woody

This is a Wood Duck ... more specifically it is an eclipse male. The need for the fancy colors are done and he has molted. Check out those eyes.

The Other Woodpecker

We have not seen many Northern Flicker this summer but this one allowed us to take her photo. Some don't think of the flicker as a woodpecker, they I think of them as 'the other woodpecker'.
