Hide From The Camera Dude

I know the lighting was not great for this photo. I tried to edit it to make it better but the contrast is not great. With all the rain lately every low spot is full of water. This frequent pond is aways full in the sring then just a field in the late summer. This mommyWood Duck and her baby ducks took off to hide in the bush.

This male mallard is sporting eclipse plumage. He quicky when into the bush to hide.

Solitude

I have been trying to get a good photo of a Blue-winged Teal for a couple weeks. I think this is a beautiful photo. Their best colors show up in flight but this is beautiful.

Not A Pond

This picture would lead you believing that these Blue-winged Teal are floating on a pond or lake. The reality is this is a floaded field and they seem to love it.
