Nature’s Drummer: Red-Bellied Woodpecker

It was great to see a male Red-bellied Woodpecker. We have not seen many lately so this was great. He was enjoying this tree and we were enjoying watching him.

Sunflower Seed Secured

As I have said before, we stop at a local reserve most mornings to feed the birds. The feeders also give us a place to watch the birds.

Today we had fun watching as this pole served as a gym for this White-breasted Nuthatch. I guess she likes the sunflower seeds.

Winding Down

I am not a fan of winter. I know we still have fall before we see any snow, but I am not a fan of it. I can see changes already .. seasons are changing.

I love this photo of a American Goldfinch .. enjoy the day!
