Two Mourning Doves …. 🎼

I don't know what is going on with the Mourning Dove on the right but that is interesting. It looks like some kind of distoration in the photo .. like two birds instead of one.

When I photographed this, my mind jumped to "The twelve days of Christmas".

Can’t Hide

It has been a while since we saw a Northern Flicker. We usually see a few over the winter months but not this year. Sadly I did not get a great photo of this one. He was not able to hide.

In the same area we could hear a Carolina Wren. We looked all over but could not locate her. I really wanted that photo, but it did not happen. Soon!!

A Red-Winged Pair

I saw this couple while hiking this week. It's a happy pair of Red-winged Blackbirds. It is the 1st female Red-winged Blackbird I have photograpned this year.
