Yes, this is two different Red-bellied Woodpeckers in two different trees.
I really like the first photo becuase you can see the red belly more than in most photos I take of Red-bellied Woodpeckers. The second photo is not as good due to a slight focus issue.

The team at our local Miami County Parks District have started filling the feeders at the local reserves. It is always a fun place to go and watch the birds. We will pull up in the car and just set there and enjoy the show.

The woodpeckers are sure putting on a good show. We have not been in the woods every day, but the days we are able to get out we see a numbrer of woodpeckers. In this case, it was another Downy Woodpecker. I like to guess at what they are thinking .. maybe its, "You want me to smile?"
