There You Are!

It has been a while since we posted a photo of a cardinal. They are masters of hide-and-seek.

As in most cases, it started with that ‘tink’ call. We were hiking up this grade when we first heard him. It took a few minutes but this time he was not able to hide. Once he was located, we both started snapping photos. The foliage made it a tough shot, but as you can see, the beauty compensated us for our effort. We both captured a few photos with this being the best of them.

A Little Bird Gets A Little Drink

This is not a great photo, but I love hummingbirds. This one caught my attention as she was getting a drink from the feeder at my sons home. The screen makes it a little dark, but still came out nice.

A cold morning hike

Teresa and I took an early morning hike at Maple Ridge Reserve. It was cold, but the sky was clear and the air was crisp. We managed to see several deer and a few woodpeckers. We made this video of our hike:
