Living In Nature

DSC_1815.jpeg

Nature is not always large and obvious. The photos today capture this lesson from Mother Nature.

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining on us and you could feel the energy of nature all around us. As we hiked, we saw this beautiful Monarch Butterfly doing her thing. We are seeing a lot of them right now as the migration is approaching.

I shot the first photo. Of course, when I took the photo, I did not see everything in the frame. I did see the bee in the foreground, but I didn’t see the second bee, or the fly.

Nature is wonderful .. and so alive. I was focused on the butterfly, but there is so much life in this photo.

Not far from this spot, I paused to stop and look around. I could not see all of the life in my view: I could see the goldenrod, a few butterflies, but the beauty in nature is the diversity of life. plants, insects, mammals is so large. It is just just amazing in its size and scope.

Oh, you may not like flies when they come around, but how cool is this fly. Wow.

The message: Don’t miss the small stuff. Stop and take it all in. Nature .. life is happening all around you. Take it all it.
