Which Is It?

This is a Red-spotted Purple but it is also called a White Admiral. In the past, these two 'forms' were considered separate species. I have always referred to them as Red-spotted Purple. If you follow the link above, it gets deep into the details and is a good read.

Nature Brings The Color

Nectar Happy Hour

We saw several Black Swallowtails on the butterfly walk yesterday. This is an organized event and I sure enjoyed it. This Black Swallowtail was enjoying a Nectar feast.
