This is a Northern Rough-winged Swallow. I have photographed one before, but it has been a long time. This one was taking a break from the insect hunt.

A chipmunk and a squirrel when into a bar .. .
Funny to see these to so close to each other. I could not get the photo I really wish I had taken. They were just a few feet apart. I am sure the chipmunk saw the squirrel, but I really don't know. Cute, regardless.

I knew they were around becuase I have been hearing their cat like call on the last few hikes. Today, I photographed this Gray Catbird. They are a very plain bird, but they are sure interesting.
