In previous years, we were lucky to spot one or two gray catbirds. This season, however, they seem to be everywhere, and I've been fortunate enough to capture several—including this stunning little visitor.

Look, another Gray Catbird! This time she was perched right out in the open, allowing me to capture a much better photo. ~ Rick
Just before I spotted this Gray Catbird, I was literally just thinking that we hadn't photographed one all year... and then, boom, there he was. He is, quite literally, the cat's meow—which is highly ironic for a bird, I know.

I knew they were around becuase I have been hearing their cat like call on the last few hikes. Today, I photographed this Gray Catbird. They are a very plain bird, but they are sure interesting.

I saw this Gray Catbird hiding in the trees. At first I was not sure it was a catbird, but that 'orange' spot under the tail was the giveaway. Cute.
