Moving On up

It is always good to see a woodpecker. I get all excited and snap as many photos as I can. The picturesa don't all come out great, but when nature gives us a photo opportunity, we take it.

Halloween Pennant

I love the Halloween Pennant dragonfly. They are so cool and serious carnivores.

One Of The Few

We saw a few Monarch Butterflies while hiking this week. Sadly, we have not seen vey many butterflies overall. I am not sure why but compared the previous years we are just not seeing many.

Chickadee

This may be a Black-capped Chickadee. We usually see Carolina Chickadees. Either way, they look a lot the same. What do you think?
