We went to Grand Lake St Marys this week and saw a number of Great Blue Herons. This one let us get really close but clearly he was focused on lunch.

I saw this Gray Catbird hiding in the trees. At first I was not sure it was a catbird, but that 'orange' spot under the tail was the giveaway. Cute.

This is a female Brown-headed Cowbird. They are not my favorite bird. I tend to love all birds, but I do love the colors of many of them. She has her own unique beauty.
