Monarch

This is not the best photo of a Monarch Butterfly. We have seen a few of them, but photo opportunites have been rare this year. I think we followed this one around trying to get a photo for a quarter mile.

Chickadee Fun

I usually see more Carolina Chickadee during the winter but on this very hot and muggy day they were playing games. It was fun to watch.

This is a female Common Whitetail Skimmer. The male has a white tail. The wings .. classic dragonfly stuff.

A Swallow

When I saw this bird, I knew right away it waws a swallow. The more I looked at the photo, the more I questioned it's identity. I have concluded it is a Northern Rough-winged Swallow. I could be wrong .. but I am sure.
