I don't take very many phtoos of Cabbage White butterflies, but this one care out really good. I see them frequently, but they do not usually land long enough for a good photo. This was the exception.

This time of year I think the most common butterfly in this part of the world is Pearl Crescent. They are everwhere. Sometimes we will see 4 or 5 having a party in the grass. It's wild.

I was beginning to think we would not see another Monarch Butterfly this year, but there she was. I hope we see a few more this week. We continue to hike with fingers crossed.

Yesterday I flew to Utah to pick up Tucker, the newest member of our family. Tucker, like Cooper, is a Cavalier King Charles. It was a long day but we are so happy to have Tucker and welcome him to our family. More photos later .. and more hiking.
