Squirrel Games

We have seen so many squirrels lately. We have not been able to photograph many of them.

Teresa took the second photo last week on one of our outings. I took the top photo this week. In that photo there is two of them, but we actually saw six of them having a good time playing tag. It was really cute.

Quick, Up That Tree!

We continue to see a lot of squirrels. They usually run up a tree before we can capture a photo, but this time I took the top photo, then Teresa captured a photo as he climbed out of sight.

We sure enjoyed this squirrel. We were walking on the bike trail just south of Farrington Road when we saw this guy on the bike trail. When he saw us coming, he darted to a nearby tree. The funny part was that he only went up about 5 to 6 feet, then parked and watch us. We walked to about 4 to 5 feet from him and we both snapped a few photos. He did not take off .. it was cute.

Squirrel Distraction

I took both of these photos last week, but at two different locations on the same hike. We saw a third squirrel, but neither of us was successful at capturing a photo. Funny thing is he was the largest of the three.

Watching these guys can be a a big distraction from photographing birds, but it sure is fun. It was like someone yelled, “Squirrel”.

Where Is Our Superhero?

Our superhero found the bird feeder and took a timeout for a snack:). This is not the 1st time I have seen a squirrel in the bird feeder ... but no less cute.
