Nut Time

We almost missed this squirrel. She was in a tree and just off to the right of the trail. Her color was a little different. She had a dark streak that was cool. I love how focused she was on her nut time.

The cold continues, but the hiking has been great. I do not recall seeing so many squirrels in years past. It seems that we see seveal everytime we hike. This guy stopped to check us out, allowing me to capture this photo.
