Every hike seems to bring larger numbers of Cicadas. Now they are showing up in much larger numbers .. not one at a time, or even two .. but a lot of them. Stay tuned.

I am pausing for a day to look back at some of the photos Teresa and I have captured in the last two or three weeks. The wildflowers are looking amazing and the lanscapes have transformed into hues of green. Spring has transformed the outdoors. I hope you enjoy these photos.

I have been trying to capture a photo of an Eastern Phoebe for a couple weeks, but they have been avoiding my lens. I finally was successful. I love their tune .. a unique sound. ❤️

The weather has been amazing, but I like hot weather. We were hiking along the Miami River this week and I was so surprised with we saw this Cedar Waxwing. I think it was later in the season last year when I started to see them last year, but there he was. Some of the colors are not visible in this photo due to the location and angles involved, but very cool.
