This Great Blue Heron was in a tree overlooking one of the ponds at Garbry Big Woods. We watched him land in this tree, then move to another tree .. and then fly away. Teresa saw him eating someing right after landing so I guess it was dine in.

This picture would lead you believing that these Blue-winged Teal are floating on a pond or lake. The reality is this is a floaded field and they seem to love it.

We drove up to Grand Lake St Marys this week to see what kind of birds we could find. It was not super productive. We did see a few eagles, and this pari of American White Pelican. They sure stand ou aginst the blue sky.

This time it was a pair of Wood Ducks. The male has this amazing intricate plumage. It is spring and this pair must be on a date. 😂
