Cold morning; Still water

I love this photo of the scenic Stillwater River. It was about 29ºF and the sun had just risen. The sky was beautiful and I was freezing 🥶. The bare trees are ready for a long winter. Have a great day!

Big, beautiful Hawk

We were driving to Maple Ridge Reserve when I spotted this Broad-winged Hawk. She was not brothered when I got out of the car to take her picture. She is one of the larger hawks I have seen recently. Beautiful raptor.

A cold morning hike

Teresa and I took an early morning hike at Maple Ridge Reserve. It was cold, but the sky was clear and the air was crisp. We managed to see several deer and a few woodpeckers. We made this video of our hike:

A Sunrise .. 365 days later

I love the sunrise. This photo is of a past sunrise, but every sunrise means so much. It was a year ago today that I underwent robotic surgery for prostate cancer. It seems like forever ago. I wrote more about my feelings on my other blog. I can express the feelings and emotions I have felt this week. It’s great to be able to share in this Thanksgiving day. Be grateful and hug those you love today.
