I saw this Spotted Sandpiper on the Great Miami River south of Piqua. What a surprise. They do migrage here over the summer but we don't see them often.

We sure enjoyed watching this Great Blue Heron. He was in one of the ponds at .. several mornings recently. Most days we see him catch a fish. He totally ignores us when he is focused on lunch.
