High Ground

I love taking a photo of Field Sparrows. Their curiosity makes them a friend of my camera. They always take a high spot in the small trees where they can see what is going on. This one was in the trees and a photo was nearly impossibe. He flew to the a higher branch where he could check us out. Of course, that allowed me to take a few photos. I love it.

There Is Always A First

This sure looks like a Horned Lark. If it is, it's a young male. I guess I am going with this .. a Horned Lark. This is the first time I have photographed a Horned Lark.
