Red Beauty

This is another photo from the past. We saw a cardinal this week but I was not able to get a photo .. so this is what I wanted to share today.

Hello My Friend

Here is another older photo. This time of year I tend to photograph more sparrows so there will be more soon.

Sunny Days

What a beautiful day .. and a beautiful Eastern Phoebe. I think she was waiting for me to snap this photo. Not many nice days like this left this year. Very sad but what a cool bird.

Hoarding Nuthatch

It has been a while since I photographed a White-breasted Nuthatch. This one was doing some gymnastics. Gotta love them.

I read this cool little fact on the site linked above ..

If you see a White-breasted Nuthatch making lots of quick trips to and from your feeder – too many for it to be eating them all – it may be storing the seeds for later in the winter, by wedging them into furrows in the bark of nearby trees.

No surprise .. enjoy.

Spreading the Seeds

THe American Goldfinch seem to love the colors of fall as much as we do. Thse two were totally engaged in the seeds. So beautiful.
