Such a small Carolina Chickadee. I guess they are always small, but he looks even smaller than normal.

White-breasted Nuthatch seem to be the most active bird this month. I have seen so many of them. This one was in Marrow, Ohio.

With all the rain and melting snow, the ponds are full. On one of our hikes this week we spotted this Bufflehead on one of these ponds. He was alone but seemed to enjoy the solitude.

We were visiting family when I spotted this female on the feeder on their deck. You know me: I grapped my camera and went to work. She flew to a nearby tree and then ... I missed the shot. I was so frustrated. A hour or so later, it played out again but this time I captured this photo. Beautiful.
