Take The Shot

We were hiking (in the mud) when I saw a bird land in a tree some distance away. I thougth to myself, 'this is a long shot, but maybe .. ". I zoomed as much as possible and shot this photo.

I guess I was surprised at how well it came out. Not my best photo, but not bad all things considered. Sometimes you just take the shot .. you never succeed if you don't take the shot.

Have a good day and take the shot.

Red Beauty

I had the big camera this time. What a beautiful bird. ❤️ I guess he was shy and turned away in the second photo.

Nutty Hatch

There are few better tree climbers than the White-breasted Nuthatch. They climb the trees like the squirrels, if not better. Seriously fun to watch.

Nature On The Job

Nature seems to send the American Robins when the bird photography gets slow. Thank you mother nature. 🧐
