Another First

This was the frist time I have photographed a Prairie Warbler. I had no idea they came into this part of Ohio. In fact, when I look at the range for this bird, it really cuts off south of our location. When I heard him, I knew if was someting different. It is very unique. I used the app I discussed recretly and identifyed it while we contined to try and loccate him. Teresa spoted him in a tree, hanging out over the trail. I contined to sing his special tune while we captured a few photos. Made my day.

Black And White ..

This warbler did not want to stay put. I guess allowing me to capture a great photo was not a priority for him.

This is a Black-and-white Warbler. I have always thought they were a beautiful bird, even if they are all black and white.

A Yellow Throat

Photographing this Yellow-throated Warbler was very difficult. He moved around constantly, is very small, and was way up in a tree directly overhead. I move to a slightly better location but I could not talk him into holding still for a photo. 😂

Hey, What A Surprise Find

This is a female Magnolia Warbler. What a surprise. They are only in this area when they are migrating. I wish I had seen a male too. I am so grateful for the opportunity to see this beautiful bird. ❤️
