Happy Turkey Day

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving Day. I am so thankful for life, family and so much more. I am actually not a big fan of the turkey .. I much prefer beef. In fact, for the last few years I have been cooking a beef tri-tip and my son has cooked a turkey. it works. Have a great day. (I wrote this on thanksgiving day but it will go live the day after .. hope you had a great thanksgiving).

A Special Day

It's the day after thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is my favorite holiday. I don't care so mcuh about the food. I find time with family means so much to me. I know many don't get that experience. I hope you found some joy and peace in the day. I am just grateful for life and the opprotunites of living.

I guess it is extra special to me since the 22nd made it six years since my cancer surgery. You can read about that here. Have a great day.
