This one is an Eastern Comma butterfly. Last year we saw a lot of these but this is the first one we have seen this time around the sun. They have a unique wing shape.

We are seeing a few more butterflies but less than normal for this time of year. This Pearl Crescent Butterfly was one of a few on this day aa couple weeks ago.

We have been looking for an Indigo Bunting for a few days. Yesterday I was happy to photograph this one. I heard many more on our hike but could not find one. We kike 2.5 miles and I lost count of how many we heard. They are beautiful.
